“For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; Naked, and ye clothed me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” – Matthew 25:35-36
Rexburg for Refugees is dedicated to empowering small communities like Rexburg and the surrounding areas to aid in a global crisis.
Currently, there are more than 60 million refugees and displaced individuals and families across the globe. Some are as close as the Salt Lake valley. They need our help.
Rexburg for Refugees was created by Wit Logs owner, Emmilie Whitlock, and her husband, Eric.
The purpose of this project is to enable citizens of Rexburg to help a worldwide cause.
Rexburg for Refugees will provide regular updates for how community members can help by donating gifts in kind as well as monetary donations. Rexburg for Refugees will provide donation pick-up for all gifts in kind.
All in-kind donations will be taken to the International Rescue Committee in Salt Lake City. One hundred percent of all monetary donations given to Rexburg for Refugees will be donated to the IRC as well.
Text Emmilie (707-672-3899) or Eric (480-570-0503) for pick-up on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. and Sunday from 5-7 p.m.
